Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27

Welcome To Our Journey
Our decision to adopt has taken us on a long road. It actually began five years ago when Jennifer was diagnosed with cervical cancer during the prenancy of Shelby. We knew that it would be our last opportunity for more children. In spite of all we were dealing with, we decided that if God put it on our hearts when things settled down, we would pursue adoption. About six months later, we began talking more about the idea of adding to our family. We both felt very strongly that God was not finished growing our family.
It was up to Him to make our way through some major obstacles. The cost of international adoption was cost prohibitive and Jennifer's cancer history was to recent. God made provisions for the adoption to be fully financed and we found an Agency that was confident that Jennifer's health history would not be a problem. This was after being declined by three Agencies.
After overcomming these hurdles, we knew that this was God's plan for our family. He moved mountains for us.
